The new bi-weekly law firm marketing podcast focuses on legal marketing and gives tips to attorneys on improving their search engine results. The podcast also gives web design and conversion advice.

The law firm marketing experts at SEOLawFirm.com released their podcast a couple weeks ago and it is now available in the iTunes store.
“The podcasts discuss various legal marketing topics that are covered on the company’s blog.”

SEOLawFirm.com’s parent company, Adviatech Corp., is no stranger to podcasting. In May of 2009, they developed Your SEO Update with host Sierra Winter to develop a monthly podcast. As production time increased on the 15 minute program, the episodes were later delayed until recently shortening the podcast to less than five minutes.

Now on their legal marketing side, the company is doing the same thing by hosting shorter podcasts on a bi-weekly basis. “The podcasts discuss various legal marketing topics that are covered on the company’s blog.” However, the podcast gives them an opportunity to discuss tips and tricks in more detail and even answer questions that come in between episodes.

The first episode went live a couple weeks ago and was posted on SEOLawFirm.com and their Twitter account. Close to 150 listeners have since heard the podcast and given positive review as well as ideas on things to change in the future to make the podcast even better.

Aside from time restraints in production, the law firm marketing podcast is also shorter due to its target market. Attorneys are often strapped for time and rarely have the opportunity to sit down for 15-20 minutes to listen to a full length episode. It was also believed by SEOLawFirm.com management that it was possible to include so much information in one podcast episode that the listener would not be able to retain it, thus preventing the podcast from being a valuable legal marketing tool.

With their slogan being “Law Firm Marketing Is Evolving,” it is no surprise that SEOLawFirm.com would use podcasting as a medium to spread their message. The podcast is free to subscribers.

Apple sold their 250 millionth iPod this week.

10:23 am: The iPad, of course, has a built-in iPod and the interface is a lot like a full version of iTunes. Album art in the center, controls at the top of the window, playlists and such on the left bar. Similarly, the iTunes store is a lot like its full Mac counterpart with live previewing.

10:24 am: Rumors of Apple ditching Google be damned, the iPad’s map functionality is entirely based on Googe Maps. iPad has full-screen street view. Looks pretty fantastic.

10:25 am: Jobs is now viewing a fullscreen HD YouTube called “Wet and Woofy.” Portrait and landscape transfer is again, seamless.

10:28 am: Jobs is now watching Star Trek (2009) on the iPad. Sleek, seamless, chapter listings on the left nav.

10:29 am: The iPad is 0.5 inches and includes a 9.7 inch IPS display with full capacitive multitouch sensors. 16 – 64 GB of flash storage. 1GHz Apple A4 chip powering the device. Bluetooth, speaker, microphone, 30-pin connector (standard iPhone connector).

10:31 am: Apple claims 10 hours of battery life on the iPad and a month of standby time.

10:32 am: Jobs is now inviting Scott Forstall SVP of iPhone software to talk about third party apps for the iPad.

10:33 am: The iPad can run any existing game or app in either their native resolution or in scaled fullscreen.

10:34 am: Forstall is now showing ESPN’s X-Games Snowcross, showing how the native resolution is displayed in the center of the screen with the OPEN GLS game. Much to our surprise full-screen scaling looks good with no framerate drops.

10:36 am: iPhone Software Development Kit will be available today so that developers can start creating apps and games right away.

10:37 am: Apps designed specifically for the iPad will be promoted on the iTunes App Store.

I was so happy to receive this letter!

Hi Scott,

I want to take a moment and thank you and Jim for this course. I just
approved my first meditation album with CDBaby today!!!

It never would have been possible without your help and coaching. I knew
nothing about any of this before I started. Actually I’m still not sure how
I pulled it off, but I did. Your advice to start with the podcast and get
familiar with the process and recording was a huge help.

I know this first album is not perfect and far from it, but it is so
empowering to actually have done it. And having the podcast up (I love
mypodcastworld.com by-the-way) and seeing it downloaded thousands of times all over the world and getting some 5 star ratings on iTunes gave me the
encouragement to keep going and complete the premium product.

I now have the physical product for sale on my website, ebay, and
distributed with CDBaby. I have no idea what will come of it, but making it
this far has opened my eyes to what is possible in an even greater way…

I was one of the people who won a free course and you also provided the
coaching session free. I hope someday I can repay you. If you knew my life
situation and condition this year, you would understand what a miracle
having this information come into my life has been! I am in tears as I write
this…

Thank you from the bottom of my heart!

A very Merry Christmas and a Prosperous New Year to you and yours!

God bless you -

Cheers,
Brenda Smith

Hi Scott,

Here are my testimonials:

Dan Deyette really knows what he’s doing when it comes to search engine optimization! He masterfully decoded the mysteries of Google and simplified all the complexity down to 3 keys for success: Relevance, Trust and Popularity. Now I know exactly where and what to focus on in order to get the results I’m looking for. Instead of feeling frustrated and hopeless, I now feel empowered.

Dan is at www.competitiondemolition.com

Stephan Stavrakis is brilliant when it comes to discovering what sets me apart from my competition and creating that uniqueness in the mind of my market. He helped me change the way I’ve been thinking about my work and I know I’ll never see business promotions and strategic positioning in the same way ever again.

Stephan is at www.3dthinking.com

Frank: offered a remarkable opportunity and insight into an easy way to achieve my goals, and helped me understand how I can accomplish so much more with much less effort, energy and time.

Stefanie reminded me that it’s not all about me! That in order to be more successful, everything I do is all about them, my audience, the people I’m here to serve. If I do my job of helping them well enough, then they’ll help me. This one key concept can turn everything around in the way I work, my approach to my market, how I relate to them… and the funny thing is that I now know how to get what I want by simply giving them what they really want. It’s not rocket science, but I had gotten lost in the logistics, details, complexities of being a solo-preneur, I’d lost sight of what my work and my purpose is all about.

Stefanie is at www.mitprogram.com

Hope that helps…

Thanks!

Val
